Kendra has trained three of our dogs over the last three years - two Labs and a Bernese. The dogs love her immensely.

I contacted Kendra about my 4 yr. old dog, Ruby. We had moved around a few times before landing in South Glengarry and Ruby had lost her confidence. Ruby has anxiety and at times fear aggression. Ruby is smart, active and loves her people. With Kendra as our trainer, we have come a long way. I learned to read my dog and what her triggers are. We’ve learned agility and tracking to exercise her mind I’ve even learned to use a muzzle as a tool not a punishment. I’ve learned how to make walks interesting for Ruby and to use games to exercise her mind. One of our biggest accomplishment to date is to be able to go on a hike with a friend’s dog with no issues. Ruby made a new dog friend. None of this would be possible without Kendra. She’s positive and really gets to know her clients (dog and human). She uses our strengths to build on. She also helped me with my other dog, Pepper. I found out that Pepper has a passion for tracking and that he likes to work too! The three of us are so grateful to Kendra, thanks so much. Kendra offers training with an approach that is based on developing a great relationship with your dog. I appreciate all the help, the pointers and advice she provides. Kendra has a great energy and puts forward classes that are fun and enjoyable for the dogs. And for us! It is obvious that she loves dogs, and my dog liked her from the start! He has come a long way, from the dog that was trembling and barking constantly around other dogs, to being able to be part of Cani trail club and almost be zen about it! I recommend Zenfuldog training to anyone who not only wants to improves their dog’s behaviour, but who also wants to develop a wonderful relationship with their pooch!

Me and my two dogs, Arya and Brom, love having Kendra as a trainer. She is one of very few people I feel 100% confident leaving my two reactive dogs with. She is always positive and full of energy which helps keep all our training sessions fun and enjoyable. She always ensures everyone has their dog(s) under control giving me and both my dogs piece of mind. We have been easily able to participate in group training classes and were given the space we need to be successful. Our favourite training time with Kendra at ZenfulDog is the Cani-Trail Club hikes. This has allowed us to safely be around other leashed dogs and work on being tolerant of their presence. We are all out together working on our individual needs with Kendra's guidance. Kendra always makes sure everyone knows me and my dogs need some extra space and sets us up for success. We started off hiking from a distance where we can barely see the other dogs and were working hard to stay calm and focused. Now, Arya and Brom are getting so used to having dog friends around in this setting we can get a within a few meters without my reactive dogs even batting an eye. This is a great way to get some dog socialization in a controlled setting. I love that ZenfulDog puts a heavy focus on connection and relationship building with your dog.

I have 2 large dogs. One is a senior and one has a behaviour disorder and requires medication, which makes leaving them for more than a few hours at a time very difficult. We are fortunate to have Kendra provide her pet sitting/dog walking services. While I was away on my 2 day conference, the dogs were able to stay in our home and not go to a kennel. They had a blast with lots of outdoor fun, inside fit paw workout along with lots cuddles and hugs. Thanks so much for the outstanding care and affection you gave to Jack, Finley and Molly.

I was going through puppyhood with my first dog/puppy ever, and to put it mildly, I was struggling big time. YouTube videos were not working for us with tons of conflicting information. It got to the point where, despite our best efforts, we weren’t even able to go for leash walks anymore due to a leash biting behaviour that had set in. The frustration was real! Flash forward to now, just a few months later, where my sweet Georgia is doing parkour class, is part of Canisport and Trail (group hikes, disc dog, etc) and is overall such a good dog. We would not be here without Kendra and her direct, professional teaching. Kendra was always there for mid week emails too when I had questions. The whole experience has been so fun and rewarding.
