Pawsitively Awesome!
ZENFULdog’s grounds were transformed with Hallowe’en music and bootiful decorations into a spooktacular backdrop on October 29th from 9 am to 1 pm. Dogs and pet-parents alike were dressed up in costumes and ready to pawty.
Kendra went above and beyond creating a fun and spooky event for your pups. She credits all of you for making the day such a success and a blast. She wants to thank everyone who helped to set up and clean up, provided treats, participated with big smiles and fully brought it—both in costumes and in spirit! Kendra is so proud of the way you all supported one another and put your dogs’ mental and physical health above all else.

Events
The event started with a timed Spooky Obstacle Course at 9 am. Congrats to Kathy & Jett who won 1st place, Nick, Melanie & Meika who won 2nd place, and Mike &Maverick who won 3rd place.
Deb also had great success with Ruby!
Kendra adds: “They both worked very hard to build Ruby's confidence to help her take part in social activities and it was so nice to see them both enjoy the obstacle course! I was so impressed to see everyone help by giving them space to succeed!”
Next was the timed 2km Fun Run at 10 am. Congrats to Nick & Meika who won 1st place for the fastest timed run, Tonya & Charles who placed 2nd and Kevin & Ren who won 3rd place!
Classes
Pawty-goers were then spoiled with 3 free classes:
Fitness Class where Eva & Lily did an awesome demo to facilitate teaching new teams
Parkour Class was a blast
Canicross where Erin (with Bentley), Kathy (with Jett), and Laura (with Pia) were amazing taking the group for a run and answering questions. Mikayla (with Dex), Nick (with Meika) and Crystal (with Ajax) all did amazing trying out Canicross
Costumes
During free time, participants were enjoying treats for both dogs and humans, socializing, taking part in the costume contest and benefitting from the photo booth set-up to showcase and keepsake their dogs’ fantastic costumes and personalities!
Everyone’s costumes were fantastic! There was a Winnie the Pooh gang, matching bee outfits, a firefighter with fire, a lion, a headless horseman, Michael Myers and many more!
The big winner of the costume contest was Maverick who had three amazing costume changes!
An honourable mention goes to the original and fabulous Men in Black duo—Frank The Pug (with Amanda) and to the SuperHero Family—Meika (with Kevin and Melanie).

What a treat it was to be part of ZENFULdog’s Spooktacular Howliday event this year and to meet so many ZENFULdog community members in person. It’s true what they say, dog people really are the best people!
